Thank you for your support of the 2023 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. Please familiarize yourself with our policies to ensure your media credential application is correctly processed. These guidelines are strictly enforced at CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. The most up-to-date CP3 Rising Stars guidelines and policies can be found on this page. Applying for a credential does not guarantee its approval. If approved, space is limited, and a maximum of two (2) media credentials are available per organization. ALL entities and personnel planning to attend the 2023 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp as "MEDIA", "SCOUT(S)", ETC. MUST APPLY FOR A MEDIA CREDENTIAL BY THE STATED DEADLINE BELOW.

 

Credential Pick-Up & Deadlines: The deadline to apply for credentials to the 2023 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp is Friday, August 18th, 2023. Applying for a credential does not guarantee access will be granted and there is no guarantee that late applications will be accepted.

 

Professional Conduct: Media are expected to follow the guidelines set forth in this document, as well as the instructions of CP3 Rising Stars National Camp staff, volunteers, and security, at the risk of limitation of access or revocation of credentials. Media credentials are issued with the purpose of providing access to interviews and written, audio and visual accounts of the game as appropriate. Media members should not use access for autographs, personal photographs, data gathering, marketing and/or commercial requests. Media credentialed for access to shoot photographs and video are expected to use professional equipment to file photographic or video accounts. The use of equipment such as ‘point and shoot’ style cameras and/or mobile telephones are not considered professional equipment and may result in access being restricted or rescinded.

 

Media Materials & Press Releases: Upon approval, to be added to the 2023 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp media materials distribution list, please send an email request to staff@cp3risingstars.com with the subject line reading “Media Material & Press Releases Request”. Digital editions of the 2023 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp roster, measurements, and statistics will also be made available online at www.cp3risingstars.com. Credential pick-up will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 8:00AM until 12:00PM EST at Rise Indoor Sports (419 Twins Wy, Bermuda Run, NC 27006). Failure to pick-up a media credential during this time may result in forfeiture of said credential. CP3 Rising Stars National Camp cannot guarantee that wireless internet access will be made available at the host venues.

 

Interview Requests: Participating 2023 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp players, coaches, and/or administrators will be made available for interviews following the skill sessions prior to the lunch break and game sessions each day. NO INTERVIEWS WILL BE ALLOWED DURING GAME SESSIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Additionally, it is not permitted to ask student-athletes for phone numbers or personal contact information. When requesting and conducting interviews, media should identify the organization that they are representing, and provide advance notice to the interviewee if audio or video will be recorded for live and/or later distribution. Formal press conferences will not take place and all audio and video interviews are subject to CP3 Rising Stars National Camp video guidelines, which are included in this document.

 

Social Media: CP3 Rising Stars National Camp provides regular updates via Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Updates include breaking news and links to new content posted to www.cp3risingstars.com. Media are encouraged to retweet @CP3RisingStars and use only our designated hashtag, #CP3RS. Our official Instagram account is @CP3RS.

 

Video Production: Production of streaming and/or live video from 2023 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp IS NOT ALLOWED. No exceptions!

 

On-Court/Floor Access: Media members granted on-court/floor access must have a working purpose. Representatives from the media that are not filing reports, but would like to attend as an observer, should inform CP3 Rising Stars National Camp staff of such when submitting their application. Once again, it is not permitted to ask student-athletes for phone numbers or personal contact information. Please communicate requests with CP3 Rising Stars National Camp staff directly. The promotion of products, services, events, etc is strictly prohibited without written permission from CP3 Rising Stars National Camp Directors.

Those in violation of any policy/policies may be asked to relinquish their credential and leave the facility and venue grounds. Failure to comply with policies may also result in future credentialing reviews. Thank you for your cooperation. You will be notified if your credential request has been approved on or before Monday, August 21st, 2023. Those approved will receive electronic updates via email for the duration of the event.
